QUICK FACT...Workers required to work in hot environments are susceptible to heat-related illnesses and even death.  Employers are required to train employees about the hazards associated to heat-related illnesses and on the ways to prevent them.  Employees must also be trained to recognize symptoms and on what to do in case they or someone else experiences a heat stress situation.  Both indoor and outdoor work environments must have plenty of clean, cool water readily available and in convenient, visible locations close to the work areas.
